Some people may not want a smartphone. It’s odd, but it happens. In addition, emerging markets doesn’t always have the resources to buy a high end smartphone. While most KaiOS phones uses a numeric pad, this is tedious when typing out information. Therefore, the KaiOS phones produced by my fictional computer company, they will be able to do emails, and SMS. The phone itself will use a QWERTY keyboard for simplicity, and productivity.
