Welcome to my PC site. This site will go into detail of what I would do if I was to have my own personal computer company. This is not me putting a PC together with parts you can buy off the shelf, but I am referring to companies like Dell, or HP who makes their own hardware. I will assume that I would be a small company, so I wouldn’t have a lot of resources to build out various deviations. With that in mind, I will focus on laptops, phones, and tablets/pdas. While I would likely focus on niche markets, and I understand that the profit margins are usually slim, I would want to focus on what I think will work.
For CPUs, I will rely on Qualcomm for both the computer, handhelds, and tablets. This is a better value than the bloated, and overly priced Intel CPUs. The systems will be legacy free which means no USB-A ports, and using USB4 which is always USB-C. For software, I will offer Debian, Rational OS (in-house OS), or Windows. Rational OS will take the drive identification that you would find in Windows, and will have WINE integration for .exe files. So many companies just gives the user Windows even if they don’t want it. The choice will always be up to the buyer when they will go to the website’s store and customize their machine. For the consumer electronics, Android will be used with the exception of KaiOS phones.
